Project Description

For learners who are entering the field of health or social care in the public, private or voluntary sectors for the first time. The qualification is applicable to a range of care settings and roles, and will be ideal for support workers, domiciliary and residential care workers, health care assistants and unpaid and voluntary carers.
The programme covers many issues including a wide appreciation of what to expect within the sector as well as focussing on important areas such as person-centred care, safe working practices, duty of care and safeguarding.
